CAMP IMPROV
Date: July 7th-10th
Enter the world of YES!
What is improvisation?
Improv – better known as the ability to make it up on the spot – is taught as a series of techniques and skills focused on enhancing our own creativity while looking at life through a positive lens.
Improv isn't just about comedy.
-Class presentation?
-Group project?
-College interview?
Improvisation develops the necessary skills to be able to communicate effectively in challenging life situations where a script just isn't possible.
Through an increasingly challenging series of games and exercises presented in the most fun environment possible, students learn to:
-Think and speak effectively under pressure
-Develop confidence in public
-Discover our strengths
-Deal with conflict
-Develop a spirit of cooperation
-Problem solve through innovation
in the most fun environment possible. Laughter is the only requirement for the day!
By learning how to walk comfortably outside of our comfort zone, improvers know how to be their best anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
Let’s lighten up, look around, and lose the fear of the unscripted.
